MBBR Media

MBBR Media is a small and compact component which is mainly used in treatment of waste water in municipal plants and various industrial facilities. It is used in moving bed biofilm reactor system which is microbiological technology used for the fluid processing. These are highly efficient elements that are capable to separate organic substances using low energy. MBBR Media can also be utilized in the process of nitrification and DE-nitrification of liquids. They are made up of an activated sludge aeration system which is controlled by the plastic carriers on the internal surface area. The increased contact area separates the excess bacteria and sludge. Due to their compact design they require very less space and are easy to maintain.
